26th April: Photo shoot for The Kiss
If you would like to participate in The Kiss exhibition, please contact Dr Catherine Barrett (details below) to book into the photo shoot. Appointments will be at 15 min intervals. You will be asked to sign a consent form when you make your booking and we need to receive this consent form to confirm your booking. For more information see The Kiss page (click the link here). 2nd May: The Kiss Exhibition
An exhibition of portraits from The Kiss will take place on Wednesday 2nd May at 10am at the Garden City Shopping Centre as part of LoveFest Perth, and will continue until 16th May. This invitation is open to participants of the exhibition - and anyone else who would like to come. You do not need to RSVP for this.
3rd May: LoveFest presentations event
A series of presentations by local people living with dementia and families and friends. The Program will open with morning tea at 10 am in City of Melville Council Conference Room and will close at 4.00pm. This event is free for people with dementia and their families - RSVP essential here.
3rd May: Belonging workshop
We are calling for people with dementia who are interested in participating in the Belonging workshop. The workshop will focus on the importance of belonging - and you will be invited to share what belonging means to you. 29th May: Celebration
On 29th May there will be a celebration and closing event for the exhibition at the Garden City Memory Cafe. If your photograph is included in the Exhibition you are invited to attend and take your photograph as a thank you gift from The Museum of Love and The Social Photographer.
